Computer Science presents opportunities in the broadest range of professional
disciplines. By maintaining a balance between education, research and
interdisciplinary collaborations, our department opens this universe
of opportunities for our students. Because of our relatively small size,
we have opted to focus on a few critical research topics where we can
gain worldwide recognition.
Our faculty are expert in their respective research areas and their research
informs our curriculum keeping it timely and topical. Our Department reflects
the spirit and excellence of Johns Hopkins University and we are recognized
for producing industry innovators and first-class researchers. The demand
for our graduates is always high in both industry and academia.
